What we set ourselves

Chart Buffet sets no cookies of its own. It uses three localStorage entries, which are not cookies and are never sent with any request:

• cb-project — the chart you are working on (its table and settings), so a reload or a return visit does not lose your work. “Clear data” in the chart maker removes it.
• cb-theme — your light or dark preference, so the page does not flash the wrong theme.
• cb-panels — which settings panels you keep open.

All three serve features you use and persist until you clear them or your browser’s site data. The site works without them; it just forgets between visits.

Advertising cookies

Google AdSense and its partners may set cookies to deliver and measure ads and, with your consent, to personalise them. They are set by Google, not by us, and we cannot read them. Details: policies.google.com/technologies/ads. Control personalisation at myadcenter.google.com.

Infrastructure

Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie to identify trusted traffic and mitigate attacks.

Your choices

In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland you will be asked for consent before advertising cookies are set, by Google's certified consent management platform. Change or withdraw it at any time through Cookie choices in the footer. Every browser also lets you block cookies and clear site storage.
